We chatted on the internet from January 2012 to june 2012. i thought we grew very close. so close that we decided she should come to the United States so we could start a life together. In march 2012 I sent Monica $1750 .00 for a plane ticket. Before she came to the United States , she said there was a problem. There was a fee that she didn't know about. I don't remember what she called it , but I was to send another $5000.00 for this fee, and she would return to the United States with the money. I did some research on this fee. It was non existant. So Monica didn't fly at that time. So we continued to stay in contact at that time. In June of 2012, we made arrangements again for Monica to come to the United States. I sent 1875.00 for Monica's plane ticket. I continuously told her that the fee she was talking about before , did not exist. She agreed . Monica allegedly made travel arrangments again. She was to fly out on a Thursday, and arrive in my city on Friday night. On that Saturday ,I got a call from someone that was suposed to be an official of the London Police department . I though something was funny though. The person on the other end was speaking in the accent of someone from Ghana. ( I know this because I had spoken to someone that she told me that he was her uncle. ) Then this person ( i was told his name was George ) contacts me a couple of times a week to try to get me to pay a fee for Monica to get out of jail. I didn't send anymore money. At this date, ( July10 , 2012 ) I havent heard from him again as I sent Monica an email demanding my money back , or I was going to the authorities in Ghana. I went on the internet and searched her name under scammers , and I found her picture there .
