Maryland Live! Casino has listed on their Roulette Machines:

"Min Bet $5, Max Bet $2,500."

These Roulette Machines are individual units that are spaced all throughout the casino building and have no connection to each other, except that they all are fed by the same automatic wheel located God-knows-where in the building.

I was gambling for a few hours there playing REDS only. I like Red. A big screen on the wall shows statistics of the percentage of Reds hit to Black's hit, which numbers hit most and all that good statistical stuff. I figured if I played Red there was a 50/50 chance of hitting. If it didn't hit, I just doubled my next bet. The machine actually has a button labeled "Double Last Bet" so I know this is not cheating. According to the posted "$2,500 max bet," I could double my bets all the way to $2,500 before I would actually LOSE anything. It was still a good gamble, tho, as I have seen 10 “same color” hit in a row before. In which case, I would lose all my money.

Well, I got to the first long black streak of the night - 7 blacks in a row! My last bet was $320 and I was attempting to put $640 down on RED when the machine maxed out. It would only let me play $500. ???? The Max bet was clearly listed as “$2,500.”
I got a manager to ask him to give me back my money. He refused to refund my money and insisted that the "Max Bet $2,500" was SHARED over all the Roulette machines in the entire building. That is impossible. There are too many machines in the building and I had already placed high dollar bets myself of over $300 that would have kicked so many other people off their machines and lost them money as well. I scoured the rules on the machine and NOTHING said anything about the Max Bet being shared. I asked him where it was listed and he said it was not. It was "just the way it was." I then asked him if the “Minimum Bet” was shared because if it was, so long as anyone in the BUILDLING played $5 I should be allowed to bet a penny if I wanted to. I then asked him "Is the single numbers 36-1 pay out actually a 36-1 payout? Or do I share that with my neighbors as well??" He rolled his eyes at me and told me to get out.

THIS IS FRAUD, THIS IS A SCAM!!!! AND I WANT MY $280 CASH BACK!!!!

I have contacted a few attorneys to represent me in this, but it's all too small of an amount to spark their interest. So now all I can do is complain publicly to make me feel better.
