I applied for a loan because of bad credit on the smart loans online, then this company Horizon Capital Lending called me to say they approved me and sent me documents asking me to secure the loan with either 3 month's payments upfront or an insurance police of $800. I sent them $420 as that is all I had and the representative I dealt with said that was fine they would give me a break. Then I got a call from some guy that said he was the senior loans officer and that there is no way they could issue the loan for just that amount so I needed to pay for an insurance that will guarantee me if I defaulted or if I became ill they would pay for 4 months. I cannot get a hold of them now as the number is temporarily disabled. I guess when you are desparate you become foolish. So now I am out another $420.
