Exactly like the comment above. I applied for a payday loan but decided not to go through with it and a week after I did that, $30.00 had been deducted from my checking account. I called my bank and they suggested I close my account but that was not an option since I have so many things linked to that account. Luckily the company who did this (Loan Tree), had supplied a phone number on my banking statement and I called right away and they gave me a confirmation number for crediting me back the $30.00 and said it will be in my account within 15 business days from June 22nd. The 15 days arrived and it still was not in my account and I called back and they said it would be there by July 16th at the latest. July 16th came around and it still was not in my account and I called them back yet again and they said to give them 3-5 more days. I think they are pulling my chain and are not intending on returning my money that they illegally took from me. When you are looking for a loan, that means you need money, not wanting money taken from you. This is a scam, I know it. I am going to call them back yet again today and demand to talk to a manager or supervisor. If I still do not get results, I am going to have to take further action. After that, I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
