Between March and June of this year the web based company ripped me off to the tune of £40.00 GBP at the rate of £10.00 per month. I never gave them my credit card info, I had never even heard of them until I saw the charges on my statement and I have never accepted a web based purchase with a special discount appended.
I informed my credit card company of the first three payments early in June 2012 and had my card cancelled and re-issued (inconvenient!) - imagine my amazement when my first statement on the new card showed a further £10.00 payment to these shysters!
I am one of the lucky ones as all fraudulent payments have been refunded by Goldfish but it does not cure the problem these ne'er-do-wells need to be stopped as they are doing it to 100's, maybe 1000's of people and seem to be getting away with it - HOW!!!!!
