i got a call from virtualpcdoctor.com teling me that my computer was about to crash; but they could help me by logging into my computer using logmerin.They gave me a 6 digit number i was supposed to use ;i already had mcafee software i had bought for 2 years and a uniblue system to check on the computer.I do not use the computer everyday and i am a new user;i am also a chronic pain patient and my meds make me a little hazy in the head so iam not well most of the time.I paid them for 36 sessions but i knew something was wrong when the took out my two systems i had paid for.They have rung me up and have been quite nasty;i have put a stop on my visa card but too late; they have the money.I am a disability pensioner and that was have my pension.they said i have only a trial version of avg software installed;i did not want it and told them i wanted my money back but they said i would only get $121.00 back as they had to pay for the license.Now i uninstalled it all but have probelms with one of my drives; i only bought the computer and my printer at christmas 2010.Is there still a ten day cooling off period involved here? I would be very grateful if you could help; they have to be stopped! thank you sandra ravenswood.
