Replied to a Craigslist job ad for PC Technician we talked back & forth with email told me that I got the job & he would ship out the units, & also send payment up front as well.
When I got the check I went to my bank & cashed it, no problems there looked just like a real check but it wasn't. So I email the guy & told him that the check didn't clear & so he sent another check ups next day air for same amount but this time I call up the bank that the check was drawn off of, gave them all the info from the check & they told me there was a stop payment on that check as well. So I emailed the guy & he didn't reply at all.

Hey there I have received the same email from the same person. I also replied to another job posting and Mr. "David Stoodley" [email protected] have the same type of email

I have 7 Dell Inspiron(4Gig OS 64Bit) switch laptops. Below is a list of work needed to be done on each PC.

1 Format Hard Drive
2 Install Win 7
3 Install Microsoft Office Package
4 AVG Virus Software
5 Adobe Acrobat Reader
6 Diagnose Hardware. Hard drive, video card, processor and what not.

I have OS software for each Machine

Get back to me with your total cost for the service

from what I have seen both of those people ask you how much you want for your service and then again they ask for how much you want and they want to pay you extra to pay for shipping? I'm sick of this (Inappropriate Content Removed)...I'm a student in computer class looking for a computer job to get experience and I'm getting this type of scam for the second effing time..

I also responded to his ad on cl.org a week ago and I got his email asking for price on the service just yesterday, I got a little skeptical, his email was about a One time job but the ad on CL was different, anyways I responded to the guy with what I charge for the service and today I got an email back, but when he explained the whole situation "supposedly" and asked me for my address info is when I totally said this gotta be an scam... so I look for this guy and there were nothing on the net just Scambook.
Some people would do anything to screw good people up.
