I ordered a side table from FurnitureBuzz.com. I received an email confirmation of the order telling me that the item will ship directly from the Hooker Furniture Warehouse. When I went back to the site to check the status of my order after a week of no further communication, there was a message that said Furniture Buzz has gone out of business. There is no forwarding address, or other information for consumers like myself who have items pending. The money was debited from my checking account on 8/08/2011. I called Hooker Furniture Warehouse directly and explained the situation to them and asked them to please check my order number. I was told there was no such order number pending and if the store has gone out of business, they will not ship any items on behalf of that company. Furniture Buzz today shows an active website advertising a sale through Aug 22, 2011. I tried to call the customer service number and a recorded message tells that the number has been disconnected with no further information.
