I was contacted by a representative informing me that I was the winner of $850,000 and given a phone number (876-289-5752) to speak with Josh Edwards to claim my prize. I called and was connected to the said person. He informed me that the cashier's check would be delivered to my home today between 10:30 and 11:00 am by an attorney and police escort and they would in turn follow me to my bank to make sure there was no problem with cashing my check. He also asked if I would prefer the delivery to be public or private and went on to say that the funds had to be insured on both ends before they can be delivered. I asked why would I have to insure something I won and why would the money not be deducted from the $850k if I authorize it and was told that they would not deliver if I didn't insure it. I told him to save that scam for someone else and disconnected the call. Someone needs to follow up and make sure innocent people do not continue to be conned.
