I was just contacted by a female representative, Angela Jones, who stated that she worked with an non-profit company helping taxpayers receive government grants for home improvement, pay off debts, and basically use the money any way you choose. She confirmed my email address and said that she would be sending me an online application. She also stated that normally their fee was $59.00, but for a short time it would only cost $3.89. The punchline was that she wanted my credit card information. I informed her that I didn't give that information over the phone or online unless I knew it was a secure link. I explained to her that I mostly use a prepaid card to do business online or over-the-phone. She gave me a number to call back when I purchase the card. (425)-320-5013. I hope these scummy scammers would cease calling me at home. After working all day, the last thing that I want to deal with is a scam artist!
