Like others, I tried to download files ( I think I wanted a manual- but have a total recall blank) using a site called Quamm. Needless to say , nothing transpired and two amounts of initially £3.26 on 4th July and another of £46.62 on 8th July appeared on my current credit card statement. I have raised this with my Card issuer who is putting a block on these payments and will be issuing me with another card in due course. Normally I would have printed off the detals of any transaction, but for some unknown reason I didnt in this case. There is no way I would have given payment details without checking for a secure site, so I wonder what has happened here. Moral: dont go anywhere near these sites. The transactions were converted from Euros.
