Yesterday I closed my checking account because I had a company go in and deposit a pay day loan (White Hill), which I never applied for. What was left was the account was the reserval from White Hill that White Hill keeps telling me they are going to reverse and a small amount to cover another check that I wrote that had to clear. This morning I checked my account and found that Palm Loan Advances took $30.00 out of my account. When I call them, they said I applied for a loan, I NEVER APPLIED for a loan and never heard about these people. I told her I wanted my $30.00 put back into my account asap, which I was told their refund policy is 15 days. I told her no - that may be for customers but since Palm Loan had no authorization to go into my checking I wanted it back into my account ASAP. I told her I was going to report them to the BBB, CA Attorney General Office and to the Faud Divison of my bank. SO the money better be put back before the 15 days. HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE GETTING INTO CHECKING ACCOUNTS? I ONLY WRITE 3 CHECKS A MONTH AND NEVER CARRY MY CHECK BOOK WITH ME. Oh, while I was on the phone with Palm, the customer service person, after she told me they would reverse the amount, tried told me I was eligible for a $800 pay day loan. (ARE THESE PEOPLE CRAZY)?
