I ordered propecia (the hairpill) over the Internet using my creditcard. Being European I was surprised that the amount to be charged increased after I had inserted my creditcard number, which would be illegal in the EU. I got charged some CAD115.- by Metasave Internet, with the original amount being in EURO. Surprise, surprise: GB is not in the Eurozone, but EU legislation applies! This gave me my first worries. Having waited for 2 weeks and no delivery, I tried the 1-800 number, which was out of service. So I sent them an email to the mentioned address on the webpage I had ordered from: [email protected]. They replied that they had sent the items and gave me a tracking number, which didn't work! Having informed them about this, I waited another two weeks. No reply, no delivery. So I told them that I would inform my creditcard provider to cancel the payment, which the latter did and I didn't suffer any financial damage, lucky me....
