Murray Patrick Rice contacted me via our High School internet group and initiated a friendship. Weeks into the communication, he reported that his vehicle had broken down in a remote part of Texas and was unable to reach family, his office or any of his friends. Hours later he reported that he was still stranded in the heat, that he found a mechanic to repair his vehicle but the man would only take cash. His profile stated that he was successful and owned many properties and businesses and I sent money via Western Union on June 12, 2012. He promised to pay me back later that day or first thing in the morning. Since that day, he has promised to pay me by a certain time, yet has failed to do so. On July 19, 2012 Murray Patrick Rice deposited a check into my bank account knowing it was bad. It was returned NSF. Since then he has promised that he would pay me back by a certain day, August 15th, 2012 was the deadline. Again, an excuse why he couldn't pay. I am angry that this dishonest person would scam anyone using an emergency as the excuse.
