I have been having trouble with my receptioin on all four of my TV's since May. I reported the problem on my first fall call in April and since that time the problems have increased. I called again this month as 21 channels were freezing up and they sent a repair man out on 8/11/2012 and he found that a new connector had to be placed in the outside box which is their equipment but he said that he was going to put in a request for a bucket truck as he could not reach the equipment on the poll by the street. After calling Cox Communication I found out that this repair man did not put the request in so I requested the bucket truck. I also found that the repair man did not secure the outside box that he worked on so all the wiring is exposed to lightning and rain. The cox communication people told me not to try to secure the box myself and they would send a bucket truck out this morning, Aug. 16th to take care of the poll situation and also secure the box. The time set for this repair was 8am to 10am. I called cox commication at 11:30 as no one showed up as promised. Chris, the gentleman that I spoke with said they did not have a bucket truck available but no one called me to let me know this. As far as the box closer problem that was also not scheduled. Cox is ajusting my bill for only this month and nothing since I have been having problems. Notification of repairs sucks and repair service sucks. They charge high prices for service and when it comes to taking care of their customers, they also suck. I feel that ajustments should be at least back to April of this year since no one followed up on the complaints and when they finally scheduled repairs they either were not completed correctly or they don't show up. Prices are bad enough but services seem to be even worse.
