BEWARE - I placed an order for a Canon G12 on 7/3/12. Over a week passed before we received a call to verify credit card information. This was simply a way to try to sell additional items. I was purchasing the camera as a gift so I did not want any additional items. They even lied becuase they said the camera came with a 1/2 hour battery and we should consider the extended life battery. We actually already own the camera and the battery is not a 1/2 hour battery. When the representative heard that he said we must have bought the extended battery and not realized it. Yeah, right. He finally accepted that no addiotional sale was going to be made and said the order would be processed. A few weeks passed and I checked on the order status. THe representative said they were waiting on the camera to ship to them and they would ship it to me as soon as it came in which would be 2 - 3 weeks. It has been over 6 weeks. No one ever contacted us. Now I am told that it is an older camera and they are having difficulties getting it. When the order was placed it was the only G series I found on the internet. Now there is another model but it is not a replacement as it is $300 more than the G12. I did not read reviews before I placed my order but based on what I have read in the last few days this company is a scam. They don't ship orders unless you purchase additional items. They leave you on hold or send you to voicemail. The only successful resolution I have read about was for individuals that posted negative reviews online. The representative I spoke to even said they ship "most" items as if that is something to be proud of. There website states that the camera I ordered will ship in "usually 1 - 2 business days". Funny since he said they cannot get it. I wonder how quickly I would get it if I added a few overpriced items. It is UNBELIEVABLE that they are still in business since I have so many negative things. I am luckier in that they have not charged my card and he made a point of saying that twice. This is scam though, seems like my sale was not profitable so they don't ship the item and wait until I cancel the order. As if that makes their service any better.
