Placed an order on the Stylegoodyou website for a pair of women's sandals ($43.20) on Friday 7/27 but after completing the online purchase through PayPal, we did not receive any form of invoice regarding the transaction or information regarding the item purchased from the vendor (suspicious event #1). The following day (Saturday), we attempted to return to the Stylegoodyou website to check on the status of our order, but the site was completely blank (suspicious event #2). We attempted to contact the seller via the 800-number listed on their website, but the phone number turned out to be to "The Rewards Hotline" (suspicious event #3). The following Monday, 7/30/12, I contacted PayPal with my concern that the website may be fradulent. PayPal customer service representative attempted to access the seller's website but also encountered a blank page. A claim was opened immediately through PayPal. Nine days later (8/8/12) we received an email from PayPal with a tracking number of a package being sent to us from the seller. Today (8/17/12) we received the package from China (a small post-card size ePacket envelope), which contained a shower hair bath cap worth a claimed $0.20 USD. Upon receipt of the package we immediately contacted PayPal the same day to continue our dispute with the seller.
