I recieved a call from a party on 8/18/12 stating they were tecnicians following up on behalf of microsoft windows on issues I had summitted (I did in fact submit concerns). I was told that my computer warranty had expired and that the protection provided by my internet service had allowed malware to into the computer thus causing its slow processing. I was then given the pitch that for $149 they would repair and provide internet protection for 1 yr or for $299 lifetime service/protection warranty on all my computers. I received all that they promised thus far but today I received a follow up email from NIAS Solutions not Microsoft who I was led to believe they were from. Is this a legit company representing Microsoft or have I been duped? Am I at risk?
