I had been looking for a specific pair of shoes and searched google by the brand and model of the shoe that I desired. Mallagm.com was one of the choices. I went to the website and they listed the shoes for $24 and free shipping. I thought if this is for real then it's a great deal! I did a search to find any complaints about this company. I didn't not find any right off the bat. The payment option was PayPal, so I went ahead because the payment was to made through PayPal .
I placed the order. I never received a confirmation, nothing. I checked the order on PayPal and the payment was retrieved by the scammer within 24hours of the order being placed.
I used the "contact us" information listed on the website, of course there is no phone number listed, just a supposed email form to fill out. I did this asking for order confirmation and tracking. Not a peep back, nothing nada, zip!
I then filed a dispute with PayPal. The "seller" provided them with tracking information. I was able to actually find a website where the tracking information was useful. And yes, I did receive a package from this "seller", it's a cheap disposable shower cap, not the Clark's shoes that I ordered.
I have changed my dispute with PayPal to indicate that I received a piece of junk and not what was represented on the website. I am still waiting for my money to be refunded, but I think that PayPal will do the right thing.
