On August 19, 2011 I called John Ferguson to come fix my air conditioner. He came and put in five pounds of freeon and assured me that it would now work, and I paid him $175.00. The next morning, Aug. 20 I called him to let him know it was not cooling. He said "you probably have a leak". he came back and soldered onto COPPER, and assured me that it would work this time. I again paid him $150.00. The next morning I called him again that it was not working. He came again and looked at it. I called him again the next morning that it was not working. He said "I had to order a part for it and it will be here in the morning". Needless to say, he did not come back at all. I called him six to eight times to find out the status and that I was so mislerable with no air conditioning. He refused to respond to any of my calls, though I asked him to please have the courtesy to call me and just let me know. But he did not.

I now have a reputable company putting in a new air conditioner, at a cost of $3967.20. John Ferguson should also be responsible to reimburse me for this amount because while he was here working on it, he cut a big portion of the black mesh on the conditioner. The person putting in the new one today told me that the conditioner had a ten year warranty and it could have been sent back, if John had not cut into it.

I don't believe John has a license to work with REFRIGERATED air. This should be investigated. I further am requesting that you assist me in being reimbursed a total of $4792.00 which amounts to:
$325.00 what I paid him.
500.00 for suffering from heat for the week.
$3967.00 cost of the new unit.

I am 77 years of age, my husband is terminally ill with cancer, and I don't appreciate at all the lack of service this person gave me, plus I feel I have been defrauded.
