This man called me about 9:00 in the morning of August 24, 2012 asking me for my account number of my checking account. He mentioned that he was calling to inform me that Medicare was going to send me a new card and he needed more information. He knew my name, address and phone number and the routing number of my checking account. He then asked me to tell him the rest of my account number. I gave it to him and he wanted me to listen to an auto machine to verify everything he asked. I ask for his supervisor and another person came on the line. I ask her about the medicare card and social security info. She knew nothing about it. The man came back on line and continued to browbeat me about the info. I told him no and he hung the phone up. This is all the info I have but wanted to report it to the complaint system. Thank you
