I received a letter in POST with scratch cards from a company named Kristal Travels based in Malaysia. One of the scratch card said, I have won the second prize of USD 200,000.
They have a website www.kristaltravel.com. So it looks very legit. So when I called to advice that I have won the prize. They asked me to be discreet about the prize since I am not a member and thus they will honour the prize so their regular clients wont be upset.
The guys kept calling me for few days and finally said they need AUD 3000 to cover the legal cost to transfer the funds. So I knew it was a fraud and did not proceed any further.
To all those well meaning people there, please be careful about this frauds. It looks very real with their paper work follow up etc. But it is a big scam.
