we spoke from match.com i sent about $3400 to her for a visa,tickets and travel money then she asked for more money to come to the uk she kept money and did not appear i have found her on another site and she is under a differant name so she has done this kind of thing before she has now stoped her emails is there a way of getting the money back and reporting her to people in authority

Highly unlikely that the UK authorities can do much about it although you should report it, if the same scam has been pulled on many people then they might do something about it. Also report it to the authorities of the country she supposedly resides in. This "scam" if you can actually call it that is the oldest in the book..Just dont do it!
