Usworkmen.com called me yesterday saying they where in great need of cleaning crews in my area to do work on bank foreclosed homes. She asked promptly for a $99 fee for a background check. I was concerned when i asked her if i would be working for them or the banks. It took her way to long to answer a simple question! I gave her a old debit card number just to test the water. BIG RED FLAG!! She asked my date of birth, name, and address. she said after those three questions i would get an answer in 3 days about my background check. When I asked How she was going to check my background without knowing my maiden name or other names used or addresses for the past 6 yrs she passed the phone fast to her "manager" aka "michelle" without even warning me or asking me to hold! "Michelle" went on to pretend to process my payment and give me a confirmation number. She said she would send a copy of my report to all the banks and i would recieve leads by tuesday. It took her about 15 minutes to call me back to say the "Bank" called her back saying my card didnt go threw, But she had already told me they sent my background report to the banks so why would the "bank" be processing my payment for a background report? All those little slip ups sure saved me from being scammed! Do Not Give usworkmen.com a single penny! They say their company has been in business for 11 yrs but funny there is no info about the company on the web and after a little simple investigating i found out their website is only 27 days old and there is no information or complaints on this company older than a few weeks old!
