They called my wife and told her she had been accepted for a loan for £1500, but they would need a £75 brokers fee, which she was advised to pay by UKASH at the local pay point. After doing this, they called again to say they needed another £200 to fast track the funds to her account within 20minutes of them receiving the payment, again by UKASH. They promised the funds would be in her account by 10am on Monday morning, but instead, they called to say that they required a further £300 as one of their colleagues had made a mistake and put £300 too much through, even tho' the funds were still not in the account. When we asked for a refund, we were told it would be six months before this would happen. This is obviously a massive con which has left us £275, which we can't afford, short.
