I went on Craigs list and sent my resume to potential positions that I was interested in. I received a response from one that was ideal for me. I received a letter that I was one of three chosen for an interview and that I need to pick a date 9-5 ( which I thought was funny anyway since it is on Labor Day) I was asked to sign up for a prepaid credit card with my information on it to have my payroll direct deposited on it. Well, I did thinking I was safe because only I had any of the information im my hand. I didn't hear anything back when I asked where I needed to go for the interview. I found a link on the internet with the exact name of the person who sent me the job interview notification- [email protected]. I immediatly went to the site where the Direct Deposite site was and it is blocked. I found that when I put my mouse on the DIRECT DEPOSIT button on the email, it is to an auto loan place now. My identiy is being stolen!! I don't know what to do now.
