My family and I were on vacation on 08/13/12 in SC and went on a timeshare type seminar to get free tickets on 08/15/12, long story short, we at first signed up and my fiance wrote a check for 1200.00, after all the paper work was signed by her, we went to lunch and 30 min later I was reading feedback on the company and found out they are a scam. I went immeditaly back to the company and asked for our check back and stated we were not interested. They gave us our check back we gave them all paperwork she signed and we were on our was, on 08/18/12 I checked my bank statment to find out they had electronically taken the money out. Now wwe have tried to contact them and they said a check would be issued and that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing. We ended up closing our accounts and bank cards so they could not take anything else away from us. My bank tried to refund us the money and get it back from this company in which they told them the money was theirs and they were not giving it back. Please help with this, 1200.00 is alot of money for us and this company deserves to be shut down and reported to as many people as possible so this doesnt happen again.

  • I am speaking on my fiances behalf, Rachel Nelson, We both went through this together, but they did'nt want me to add my name to the account so If you look up hers it there, we did this on 08/15/12, The sum of 1200.00 is still owed to us as we we went back after half an hour to refuse anything from Festiva, yet they were stalling on us and seems like just enough time to run our check through. Please contact me back with what you intend to do and you will also be able to talk to my fiance directly.

  • Still nothing. This company needs to fix whats wrong. When you call them no onew answers or they say they don't know what is going on. See a recieved a quick response when they thought it was me but now that they know it's my fiance and me that I am talking about they have her in the system and no quick response or response at all for that matter. Going on now almost a month and nothing. The last time I talked to someone ( the guy that took us and scamed us GREG ) he informed me that he was un able to talk to me because thats what he was told from his HR, and that tyhey could keep our money for up to 6 months and laughed while saying this. Guess they figure they will forget about it. WE WONT!!! there has been eyewitness news stories done on this same sistuation and Festiva has been in positions like this before and still they continue to do this. Please all we want is our MONEY BACK...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
