I took my car to CarX for a brake repir job. The car was not able to driven after the inspection. They first gave an estimate around $900. I told them I would not have the brakes fixed. They then start doing things under the car and hood for about an hour. Then they said the car was no longer drivable due to contamination of the brake system and gave a new estimate of around $1300.
