International boundaries
they told me that a realitvie with the same last surname had died and left this oney in a bank. The banks name is Northern Bank Limited, UK. They used me to optain this money that was to be split 60 40%. They sent what looked to be legal doc's.Then they needed to pay for lawyer. I stupidly sent two western union payments, totalng 2500.00 USDs. Then they needed more for back taxes. I could not send anymore money due to my own credit problems. if you wish I can forward all communications.

Please look at Scambook.com for nojewels001's identical (but far more lengthy and sophisticated initially) scam where she also had to pay back taxes! I'm glad I finally saw your complaint listed in Google, and found your letter from 'Niklas Bengtsson' had several striking similarities, including the initial amount deposited and some of the paragraphs of the letter...I have a distant relative (an uncle once or twice removed) of the same name as the person noted inj the letter I had received, and when I contacted 'Mr Bengtsson' the phone calls started and became very pushy, always with legitimate sounding time limits, hence I 'bent over backwards' to accomodate the 'legal' fees and requirements. I am unaware of my distant relative's middle name. Aren't they clever and legitimate seeming scammers, and have you been compensated yet?

P.S: God bless you for listing it under Google, and my regret is that it wasn't there when I first did an online check of all names involved. Did 'Mr Niklas Bengtsson' also tell you how he had paid Arthur Jones $8,000 Pounds to assist? He was very, very smooth when talking with me, apart from his rude tendency to not say a polite 'goodbye' at the end of a call. I found it all very, very sophisticated and need to be recompensed for all the money that I calculated I have at least sent him. This amounts to $57,910(AUD), as I have been paying it off over two and a half years. I am also glad to see the warning from somebody else under the same posting about the locked bank account, which I have already taken steps to avoid. -
