I contracted for them to move me in entirety from Boca Raton Florida to Chestnut Hill, Ma.
When all the boxes were unpacked, I realized I was missing a table. When I told them, they said they did not have it on their sheets but I was told by my realtor that I had the table sitting in my Boca Home that was never moved with the rest of the furniture. They deny it. I have tables on my manifests which are not listed in any fashion but tables, and they deny this was one of them. I suggested they put it on another truck going to Boston (one of their big stops) and deliver it to me and we would work out the details. This has been going on for 5 1/2 months of constant paper work and pictures and they have just last week informed me that I have no proof and they refuse to deliver me the table. If I sue them, they will have to pay Approximately $2500.00 just for another similar table plus the cost of 4 chairs approximately $1000.00 or more,plus the court costs and my aggravation. I am sure it makes more sense, that they pick up my chair in Boca at a mutual place if they do not want to go to my home, put it on another truck going to Chestnut Hill and I will even pay them again,a moderate sum for the extra weight of the table on the truck, and then they should deliver it within a reasonable distance of my Massachusetts home where I will be happy to pick it up and then pay them. This will be a very much cheaper way to resolve this problem. Incidentally I can provide pictures and manifest copies as needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
