I arranged to have my paycheck directly deposited onto my W/U Prepaid Card. I completed the form found on the website. It has been two weeks since my first paycheck was released for direct deposit and I still have no money on my card. When I contacted W/U to find out why, they told me that it takes 7-10 business days for the first direct deposit. Nowhere in their cardholder agreement does it indicated they would tie up my money for any length of time. Nowhere on their website do they indicate this. Nowhere on the direct deposit form I completed to initiate direct deposit, does it indicate a hold on my paycheck would be made. I need to get my paycheck. I need to pay bills and buy groceries.
