WAS IN CAR ACCIDENT ON 09-09-2012 AND TOWED BY KNIGHTS COLLISION & AUTO CARE. I WAS TOLD I CAN NOT HAVE MY OWN TOWING MOVE MY BY NYPD. THATS THE LAW.WAS NOT TOLD THAT I CAN HAVE MY CAR TOWED TO WHERE I CHOOSE. WAS TAKEN TO KIGHTS COLLISION .AND WAS I CAN HAVE MY CAR PICK UP BY MY OWN TOWING COMPANY OF MY CHOICE THEN TOLD WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. WENT MONDAY MORNING TOLD THE CAR IS YOUR WIFE NAME SO SHE HAS TO PICK THE CAR THE SAME CAR I WAS DRIVING WITH ME AND WIFE IS ON THE INSURANCE CARD. WAS TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL BECAUSE I SAID NO ONE TOLD ME THIS OVER PHONE B/4 I CAME ALL THE WAY FROM LONG ISLAND AND ASKED TO SEE THERE WRITTEN RULES THEN TOLD THEY DONT HAVE WRITTEN RULES FOR ME THE ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE SUPERVISOR THEN TOLD SHE IS THE SUPERVISOR I MUST GET WRITTEN STATEMENT FORM MY WIFE. SAYING I GIVE THE RIGHT TO MY HUSBAND TO REMOVE MY CAR FROM KNIGHTS TOWING AND HAVE IT NOTARIZED CALL NYPD TO SAY THE WILL NOT GIVE ME MY CAR WAS TOLD BY THE POLICE YOU SHOULD HAVE FOUND OUT ALL THE DOCUMENTS I NEEDED B4 I COME ALL THE WAY FROM LONG ISLAND .WENT BACK ON 09-11-2012 WITH MY OWN TOWING AGAIN AND THE WRITTEN NOTARIZED STATEMENT FROM MY WIFE THEN OVER CHARGED $339.71 PINK SLIP FROM WHEN THE TOWED MY CAR SAYS $125.TOWING $25. STORAGE FOR THE FRIST 3 DAYS THEN $27. EACH DAY AFTER WAS CHARGED FOR 3 DAYS $137 TOWING---------------------------PLINK SLIP WHEN THEY TOOK MY STATE $125 $70 LABORCHARGE ---------------------------NO WORK DONE ON MY CAR $105 STORAGE-------------------------OUT SIDE ON THE ROAD MANY STATEMENTS ONLINE THIS IS JUST ONE ABOUT KNIGHTS TOWING I wanted to let you know that the whole time we were there, we felt as though we were completely at the mercy of your business. That is not how it should be. There was absolutely no transparency at how your specialist arrived at the final figure, and there were no discussions with us as to exactly what repairs were required. The upstairs towing department and the downstairs collision shop have no communication with each other. We were told we could retrieve our EZ-Pass from our car by a mechanic, and was then subsequently yelled at by the lady in charge of towing, because apparently, you need a driver's license, the car's registration, the insurance proof, and a notarized form from the car's owner (that would be my mom) giving express written authorization for, uh, my mom to go get something from our busted car. ----( The lady in charge of towing seemed to make it her life's mission to make everything as difficult as possible. Listen, I wasn't the one who shot your puppy with an assault rifle, so don't you ever use that tone with me. ______) IF I FIND A LAWSUIT AGAINST KNIGHTS TOWING ME AND MY WIFE WILL LOVE TO BE CHARACTER WITNESS AGAINST KNIGHTS TOWING THANK YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY
