I recieved a letter in the mail stating I had won $250,000.00 it said to call 011-44-772-274-6190, it said I had won November18th of 2010...supposedly sent a letter December 22nd of 2011..if I didnt respond in 3 weeks Id have to forfeit my winnings. So I called and everything SOUNDED good I spoke with "Mark Freeman" he told me I had won because of the shoppers servey...I always do those & thought it was legit...my name had been entered into that lottery which won the 2nd category of $250,000.00 at no cost to me and they will deduct the proper federal taxes and blah blah...well in 6 days I recieved a check for $4,995.00..Im to deposit this into my checking account and then call this Mark Freeman back for him to set me up with a tax agent..that Im supposed to give $3200.00 for the federal taxes then the rest of the money,$245,015.00 was comming within 24hours,well I called the bank on the check..First Midland Bank and they told me it was a scam and NOT to deposit it and to fax them a copy of it...WHY?? Why does this have to happen to good people and get their hopes all up..my family and I could really have used that money and its the worst feeling in the world..Im just so glad I didnt deposit it then supposedly in 24 hours he would fed ex the rest of the money to me...BOLOGNA...ITS THE WORST SCAM EVER!!!!!!!!!
