I was approached by a young man in a Target shopping center in Colorado Springs. He was professionally dressed and told me he was a local student competing for a scholarship. There was another young man in the shopping center with me.
He was very pushy and would not leave me alone. Every time I told him no, he kept talking to me. I finally gave in so I could get on with my day.
He offered to send magazines to kids in hospitals, so I agreed to that, gave him the cash ($126) and went on my way. I went home straight away and cancelled, requesting a full refund.
I spoke with someone a couple of weeks later who approved the refund and told me it would arrive 4-6 weeks later. Now it's been 4 months and I can't even so much as get a hold of this company. I filed a BBB report, but doubt anything will come of that.
I have not received refund I made a cash purchase with this company on April 12, 2011 and cancelled the purchase on April 13, 2011. This was well within the cancellation window and received a phone call that the refund was approved and would be sent to me within six weeks. After eight weeks went by, I called the company wondering where my refund was and the person I spoke to told me there was nothing they could do to help me and I would have to write a letter to the company. I proceeded to write them about the status of my refund and it has now been an additional five weeks and I have not heard back from the company. I have tried to call and not been able to speak to any one and have left messages and still have not heard back from the company.
