it looks like this person wants to scam me out of $1500.00 I am selling a car on gumtree and he wants me to transfer money to his account first for paypal to pay me.See Below text
I have just completed the payment and i expected paypal to have notified you to this effect.check your mail folders(inbox,spam and junk mail) i sent $2,800 in all.i added $1,600 but $1500 will be sent to my agent in United Kingdom through western union at post office,the extra $100 is to cover the western union fee. Paypal said they will not release the fund until you email them the western union details for verification,and also to enable my pick up agent to come for pick up and inspection.Here is the agent's details where the money will be sent.

- I received a similar email. He requested $950.00. Phoned PayPal to check and was advised that it was a scam. Did not pay.

- thanks for the heads-up. seems to be international gumtree scammer. claims to be unreachable by phone due to work. but the profession he claims to work in is very highly paid, so it doesn't make sense that such a person would really be interested in cheap cars and puppies, etc.

- Beware!! Beware!! This guy just tried it on me. He is using 3 different names that I am aware of - Hamilton Garner, Craig.A.Sultan and Denis Macus. He sent me 3 different emails wanting to purchase my item. 3 emails from supposed 3 different people who are all at sea and are all engineers - I'm not that stupid!!
