I applied for boiler insurance online with dial-a-rod. This company no longer exists but mr hester has been continuing to take double payments of me every month for a service he does not provide. the only reason i know these details is through the bank. When i phoned up all that happens is that i get palmed off to another bogus company boiler care.tv or something like that who answer their phone sometimes but never phone back and i1m sure have no intention of fixing my boiler. i1m sure they are taking money from a lot of people for nothing.

    While I realise that this response is a little late in the day I felt it worth responding to your complaint to set the record straight.

    Eazy Collect works as a third party payment processor to arrange Direct Debits for a number of UK Companies; while we process the payments, we have no authority to alter amounts, payment plans, or contracts which you will have agreed with the company concerned.

    Dial-A-Rod's business was transferred to Boiler Breakdown some time ago and as a result the contracts with Dial-A-Rod were assigned to the new company.

    We, at Eazy Collect, maintain the highest of customer service standards and expect our clients to do the same. If we discover that they are systematically failing to provide customer care and the service they are set up to provide then we will have no hesitation in terminating our trading relationship with them. I can confirm that we have already terminated our relationship with Boiler Breakdown as they did not meet these standards.

    As your payments were collected by Direct Debit, you are entitled to make an indemnity claim with directly with your bank. They will then give you a full and immediate refund of the amounts taken if you feel that you have not received the service you have paid for. This will, in turn, be collected back from Boiler Breakdown.
