I was a verizon customer for years prior to switching to sprint. In an effort to save money in a bad economy I switch to Sprint because they offered my work a 20% discount on cell phone bills. In the beggining of July 2012, I switched carriers, paying $300 to cancel my verizon contract. When I came over to sprint it was right in the middle of a tower upgrade in the chicagoland area (they failed to mention that). I went days at a time not even being able to make a phone call. They explained that this would be resolved in late july and if I waited they would give me a $25 account credit for four months, as well as a credit for all the downtime of the towers, approx. 1 month. Since the end of July I have paid 3 phone bills of approx. $140 each, as well have made several phone calls and visits to Sprint stores. The issue is not resolved, I have no reception at home, work, or school. EVERY SINGLE PHONE CALL.......I repeat....EVERY SINGLE PHONE CALL is dropped somewhere between the 2-3 minute mark. Then you have to call the person back for another 2-3 minutes, the call gets dropped again, then you call back again......to have a 15 minute conversation takes 5-10 phone calls, it is pathetic. I have 2 Samsung galaxy 2 epic 4 g phones, an upgrade came out when the galaxy 3's came out, since the upgrade on the phone I wake up to a message that charging paused due to high voltage.....From the sprint store....the solution is to take the battery off and on and it will reset, or reset the entire phone, I reset both phones, lost information, etc. problem still exists, taking the battery off and on sometimes takes 5-6 times before the phone turn back on......The whole service and phone are complete junk, its not a coincidence when it occurs to multiple phones at the same time....I was told I could buy a new phone, I had 14 days to return that one, what a joke, I am leaving sprint and filing a small claims suit against them for breech of contract.
