My mother (in her 80's) comes up from Florida every year to purchase bushels of apples and takes them back to FL to freeze, can, give away to friends, etc. This year we purchased over a hundred dollars (as always) in apples
they were so rotten, mushy that the kids would not even eat them in the middle of the bags and box were rotten ones, when you peeled one they had all kinds of brown spots that if you cut it off you had nothing left. They were so soft and mushy that they were not fit to eat. Needless to say will not go to Evan's Orchard next year for apples.
