I was contacted by "investigator Maxwell", told I would be sent s summons to appear in court for a debt to a payday loan outfit. I informed them that "payday" loan companies are ILLEGAL in the state of AZ. and that after the amendment to the State Constitution put forth by the voters, that amendment made it Illegal for them to EVEN attempt this action. I was informed that they Intended to proceed anyway. Even if "payday loans" were not BANNED in this state the debt is over 10 years old and the statute of Limitations has run out.
