This was the second fraudulent charge found on my account in 5 days. The first was Tempestcs.com for $39.95 and then I noticed a charge of 32.94 pounds converted from $49.95USD on my debit card statement.
I called up and the person on the other end just told me I would be refunded no questions which was highly suspicious. He also mentioned I had called up about a charge the day before and that I was told it would be refunded already but this was a second one. So both charges were obviously made by the same company posing as other names. I had to ask him who the company was and he said they are a third party who charges cards on behalf of other companies. They said I subscribed to a magazine from a company called lifestyledealsnow however I have never heard of them. I asked him how I could avoid anymore charges to see what he would say and he simply told me to cancel my card and didnt give me info on the company who alledgedly requested the charges. He said the refund would take 7-10 business days. I cancelled my card and now im impatiently waiting. Lets see what will happen. I am hoping they dont go AWOL within this time. :-(
