I checked my bank account today and found an ACH Return Fee on my account because a company named Zeal Money Solutions tried to debit my bank account. I have never heard of this company and have never done any business with them. I called and spoke to a representative named Cathy. She said that I applied for a loan and was declined, but they are not the loan company and when I was declined it went to them. I told her that I have not applied for any loans and do not know who this company is. Then, she rushed and said "Well since it was returned we cannot refund you anything." I interrupted her by saying, "Excuse me but I have a fee on my account and you need to figure out how to refund me the money." She replied by saying, "We will refund you the money and if you do not see it by Oct. 7th call us back." I said, "Ok. So, how much will the refund be?" Since I never told her how much the fee was. She said, "$29.95." I immediately called my bank and the representative googled search the company name while I was on the line and said she found a lot of complaints from people saying the same exact thing happened to them and it was a scam. So, eventually the bank reversed the fee and told me to change my bank account number because they have all of my information. I am very upset about this because I just graduated from college and started a new job. So, I do not have money for people to steal from me through scams. I hope this company and others that are scammers get caught because stealing from people is not the way to go.
