I found a pair of shoes I was looking for online on this website called Style Time. The price was $56.50,about half of retail so I considered it a good deal for a discontinued model. I placed my order and waited for the promised email to confirm it which never came. Two days later after no getting any confirmation I logged in my account and the order was "in process", then I tried to contact the vendor but when I found no phone number listed this gave me a bad feeling. I sent them an email questioning if they received my order and if the shoes were in stock. After this I checked them for consumer reviews and found all these complaints with similar scenarios as mine where the buyers did not received their shoes or received a scrubbing sponge instead!!. Immediately I contacted PayPal that I used to pay and they advised me to open a claim and they held the funds. I also contacted my Credit Card provider to try to contest the transaction from that end, they are working on it. I emailed the vendor once again requesting to cancel my order and refund my money, no answer. I still have to follow up with my claim through PayPal and CC bank, I hope I get my money back but it is not sure. I learned to check an unknown vendor BEFORE any transaction. There are lots of scams going on out there!
