I too, received a text this afternoon stating: "Your entry last month has WON! Go to BestBuyWin.net and enter your winning code 5555 to claim your FREE $1000 BestBuy gift card within 24 hrs." It came from a CA # of 714-616-6156. I went to do it and in the process of trying to pull up the website, fortunately, I noticed the webite for this scam instead! I cannot say what would of happened had I went to the website, but, lets face it, they would of now also had my email address to solicit from that point on! I sure hope this is not a Best Buy trick to enhance their advertising for free! That said, it truly makes me wonder if I want to shop at Best Buy in the future. I need to add, I have spent my fair share and then some at Best Buy over the years, hence, I truly thought I had won!! Sure hope it does not harm anything/anyone, other than our emotions!
