I had a car listed on craigslist. Tiffany contacted me with a story of her nephew needing my car so she was buying it for him. After a run around on coming to see the car & then not being able to, she sent a check for 1950.00 over the cost of the car. Informing me that I needed to western union the extra monies to a Anthony Thammavongsa 747 E. Ship Creek Ave. Anchorage Alaska, 99501. This is the shipping company to pick the vechile up. I'm in Ohio & the bank check is from North Carolina. None of this was making sence so I googled some of this info & have seen that this is a scam. If not for my amazing bank teller informing me of this scam I would have sent the funds being that I am an honest person. I am posting in hopes that someone else sees this & doesn't fall victim to this scam.

I want to thank you for posting this I have been talking to someone about buying my car I have for sale on craigslist with this same email address, and it was not added up to me so I Googled her email address and it lead me to your post, thank you so much you saved me a lot of trouble this has allowed me to stop communication before it got to out of hand.
