Mr John Bolt called me and also connected me with a supervisor named Brenda. Got me for 2.95 for trial of Best Safe Protection Plus by giving me a voucher for 100.oo to any dept store in US. Then he got me on the line with a verification service which hit me for 1.95 for trial with Shop Ship Protect and 1.95 for trial with My Privacy Matters and this was for promising me 25.00 gift card to Staples. Then I was signed up for free 30d trial with Daily Deals with the promise of 200.00 in gas vouchers. Said i would receive info for all this in mail in 3-10 days. I am sure i have been scammed and not sure what got into me . Please help.....

If you are paying attention, as most people don't, you will be ok and will be ahead of the game. This is NOT a scam but you have to call and cancel within the time frame stated and you will be able to keep the gift cards. I have done this a few times and each time I won and they lost. Believe it or not, they still have my name on their list and once again I got the same call you got. One thing I strongly suggest in the future when you get these promotional calls is to use a pre-paid Mastercard available at Walmart for $3.00. That way you can fund the card for the minimum amount and you eliminate the risk of someone stealing your credit card info. By the way, here is the info you need to one on this offer:

- Michael29732. i'm not sure if you called the same numbers but my mother has just gotten this same phone call and called back two days later and everyday since then and no one was answering the phone and she was on hold for 20 or more minutes at a time. this company not only took out the 2.95 but took out 34.95 12 times in six weeks and were only supposed to take out money twice. so in her experience this is a scam. the number and companies name were different on the paper she received from them and what was on her bank statement. She is now trying to get her money back and they are trying to tell her they can only reimburse her a small amount of what they took. she canceled the card but is still waiting to see if she actually gets anything back. Plus she never got a single card from them. country i hop[e your experience is better than my mom's good luck.
