From Jul through Aug someone accessed my paypal account and slammed it with almost 100 charges that were not authorized by me. I IMMEDIATELY called paypal and they informed me to simply dispute the charges with my bank and let them handle it. My bank did since then Paypal is coming after me saying I now owe hundreds of dollars in returned charges from my bank. I was unable to get almost 500$ in fee's removed from my bank and the enormity of this situation caused them to freeze my account (as recommended) which caused other payments (legitimate) to be returned and fee's filed against me for late payments etc. Now my paypal account is STILL not cleared up and paypal refuses to cooperate or remove the charges when I did what I was told to do and informed them immediately upon realizing the fraud.
