I got a call (caller ID was 876-377-2016 and had JM Kingston as the name) who said I was the 2nd place winner with the Publishers Clearing House contest and had won over $800 thousand dollars. I asked how I won and he (with a heavy accent) vaguely said by using my credit card as various stores. I then asked if he had a "fee" associated with this winner and he could/would not give me a straight answer. I then ask for your number to verify the "winning" information and he said to stay by the phone and he would get that number and call me back. Since I have not recently filled out any PCH paperwork I can only assume this was a scam. I did not give him any private information at all nor would I let him allow his "lawyer reps" to come out so I could sign some papers. Someone also called last week and told my husband he had won...So, I believe this is a scam. Thought you might be interested.
Thank you
Cinda Jones
