I received a phone call from the above number from Steve Anderson saying he works for Cash Net USA and that he could give me a loan up to $5000. My credit is horible and I was working with a company to get a loan and fix my credit. The day I applied for loans with the other company that is when i received the call from the above number. So on Wednesday October 17 I called the above number and gave info to proceed with the loan. Everything looked good until the gentleman asked if I had $225 in my Checking Account. Which I didn't at the time. I told him I would on Friday and that I would call him back. So Friday morning there was money in my account proving that I have money in the account so they can transfer the $5000. About two hours after the original call on Friday morning Steve called me back saying there is trouble seeing the amount in my bank account. He said that he talked to his fininail advisor and that the only way i can get the loan is if i get a Mney Pak card from Walmart and put $225 on it. And then i would get that money back plus the $5000. At this point I should have expected something was fishy but where i work they have messed up my insurance that i should have been receiveing since beginning of the month and I was trying to hit my goals for sales and my marriage has been in shambles for awhile so i was not thinking clerly. Steve said that the money would be in my account in 2 to 3 hours. well in 3 hours the money was not in my account so i called him back and he said there was a problem with the FCC and trying to give me a loan for the $5000 and that I had to have at least 10% in an account for them to loan me the money. So he asked me to get another Money Pak card from Walmart, this time for $275 to equal $500. Now i really should have seen this as a scam but now I have my wife nagging at me to get this resolved, Im leaving work again which I shouldn't have since i already took a long lunch. So i gave the info to Steve just before 7pm on Friday night and Steve said he would give me a call in 45 minutes to let me know that the money was transfered into my bank account. After 45 minutes i did not recieve a call so I called him and got no answer. I called about 10 times and left messages and of course i have not recieved any calls from him during the weekend or today. Any time i call the number now from my phone it goes right to voice mail with no rings. So i tried to call him from my work number which is a Philly number (i work for comcast and they are located in Philly and all reps have Philly numbers so we can have direct dials) and he answered. I did not say anything. And lastly I called Cash net USA on Friday night and they said that i got scammed because they only deal with pay day loans and they asked if the gentleman had an accent and if they asked for a Money Pak card from Walmart and I said yes.So i am $500 poorer because of my stupidy. I would love to get the money back, but what i really want is to catch this guy and have him get what he deserves.
