Received call and fax from Jessica Ryan of "Pre-Legal Department" saying we have not paid for a listing: "Despite many reminders and collection calls your invoice with the US Public Yellow Pages remains unpaid. Your account has now been transferred to our Pre-Legal department. It will be sold to a third party and filed as bad debt in 7 days unless a settlement is reached. Please find attached your updated statement."
We systematically turn down requests for listing anywhere except AT&T yellow pages, but they managed to put together a tape conversation that sounds like I ordered a listing.
The math on their invoice is wrong. They subtract $250 for sign up discount from cost of $849.99 for a net of $756.35.
