BellaBrite Tools charged two unauthorized amounts on my Capital One Visa account. The first was for $78.41 on 8/18/12, the second was for $84.36 on 9/17/12 - Total $162.77. Upon finding these transactions on my Capital One statement in early 9/12, I immediately called the number listed next to the transaction: 866-242-7492. I was never able to reach a real person, only a recorded message - this after NUMEROUS calls. BellaBrite's automated message did give me the option of "canceling my account" via pressing some number on my phone - which I did just prior to filing a dispute of these charges with my Capital One Visa. Unfortunately, after the disputed charges were initially removed from my account, Capital One re-billed me since I was unable to provide the additional details about these fraudulent transactions in time. I am taking the matter back up. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THESE CHARGES!! I am seeking reimbursement ASAP and will be reporting BellaBrite to the BBB within the next 48 hours if I do not receive a response from this company.
